May 11, 2003 - (Photo 5) the land for the Straw Bale Demonstration building is surveyed. Those on site to do the work were (Photos 1 - 4) Cory Gordon, Project Manager and (Photos 1 - 4) Olin Valby, Project Surveyor. (Photo 3) Austin Eade was also available to help answer questions.

May 22, 2003 - (Photos 1 - 2) cement footings are poured at the demonstration site. (Photos 3 - 6) Beams for the multi-purpose interpretive facility are milled by Last Mountain Timber Wrighting & Recycling, using timber salvaged from demolished elevators (Craik Cargill and Maymont Sask Wheat Pool). The salvaged timber was transported by Tim Fox and Wes Millington.

May 26, 2003 - forms for the basement cement walls are erected. The temporary Golf Club House is moved by Bill McGinnis with the help of Ted Hassett so the trench for the geothermal pipes can be dug. The moving of the cistern is assisted by Aaron Obrigewitsch and Neil Dolman.

May 30, 2003 - a 10 foot trench is being dug by Paul Dilschneider to accommodate the geothermal pipes. Basement walls are nearing completion.
